Makerbeam is a mini (it is really small and light) T-slot anodised aluminum construction set. It consists on beams, 90º-60º-45º brackets, M3 nuts, and bolts (both standard and self locking), and the most important feature… bearings!!! It will make you remember those old Meccano sets (if you are that old).

Back in 2007 I decided that I would make a box to store my Civil Engineering Final Project. Since it was a building with diagrid structure I decided that the box should resemble the content and then I started to think about making a diagrid box. Here’s how I did it.
